Methods for optimizing sustainable mobility strategies

In order to design sustainable mobility solutions, a sound basis for decision-making is required. That is why we systematically develop and test methods and tools for evaluating and optimizing mobility strategies and measures. These tools make it possible to specifically analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of political measures, infrastructure projects and governance approaches - for example with regard to sustainability, efficiency, social justice or environmental impact. Whether transport modeling, impact analyses, indicator systems or scenario techniques: Our approaches support cities, regions and political stakeholders in making well-founded decisions and developing mobility holistically.

Projects

Our project deals with evaluation, process evaluation, upscaling, replication and application of the project processes and results.

SUE

Enables the evaluation of the internal processes of the cluster as well as its impact and uses and generates this information and knowledge for a positive design of the mobility system.

We have developed and tested an innovative evaluation method that can be used to assess the impact of transport infrastructure projects.

We have worked on creating a full-cost perspective on urban transportation.
