Competencies

We bring our
Expertise

The aim of MCube Consulting is the implementation and realization of mobility innovations from cutting-edge research. We advise our clients from the public sector and industry using transparent scientific methods and work with them to put mobility research findings into practice.

In doing so, we draw on the MCube expertise and the network of the entire cluster. The cluster's research projects develop experiments and prototypes for the Munich metropolitan region and beyond. However, the long-term implementation and realization of innovations for industry and society is needed now.

MCube Consulting supports cities, municipalities and companies in this important implementation with short-term consulting and realization projects.

Studies on economic efficiency & sustainability

We examine current trends in the mobility market, taking into account all modes of transport. We use the expertise and innovative methods from the MCube Cluster to evaluate economic efficiency and sustainability.

Strategic traffic planning with innovative evaluation methods

We use innovative approaches to evaluate and prioritize transport measures in urban mobility planning. To this end, we have developed the Mobi-Score®, which takes internal and social costs into account and presents them in a simplified form.

Real-world laboratories and co-creation in public spaces

We develop joint visions and strategies for transformation at the interface between urban development and design. To this end, we incorporate the perspectives and needs of local residents in order to explore all options for action.

Data-based and digital mobility solutions

We develop innovative web tools on mobility topics, including our own backend and data structures for integration via API interfaces. In this way, mobility data can be professionally evaluated, visualized and recommendations derived.

What is MOSAIQ?
Imagine something: There is more space for people. The streets have more trees and plants. Everyone can get around better. That's how your Schwabing-West district could be in the future. How would you like your district to be? We want to talk to you about it!

The project is called MOSAIQ. MOSAIQ is a research∙project. MOSAIQ means: Mobility and urban climate in the future city∙part. The Technical University of Munich is leading the project.

What is MOSAIQ about?
MOSAIQ wants to make the streets in the city∙part more beautiful. People should feel comfortable there. There should be more space. For meetings and plants, for example. You can help decide what is tried out in the Stadt∙teil. The ideas come from you. Some ideas will be tried out on the streets for a certain period of time.
The aim of MOSAIQ is to make urban districts good places to live.
At the same time, the climate in the city should improve. And people should be able to move around the city easily.

What is happening in the district?

  • In the year 2025:
The people in the district can participate. They can express their ideas. There are discussions, surveys and meetings. Researchers are also starting their work.
  • In the year 2026:
    Some ideas are tried out.
They are moved around the streets for a certain period of time.
  • In the year 2027:
    The results are evaluated.
Consideration is given to how things can continue∙.
