Since July 3, 2023 in Nymphenburg: Electric car sharing vehicles from ComfficientShare in our own underground parking garage!
Our goal: Car sharing, but with the advantages of owning your own car. The general aim of the ComfficientShare project is to develop, implement and test communal charging and electrified car sharing solutions at district level. We want to offer users at our test location in Nymphenburg the reliability and convenience that they have previously experienced with their own car. In doing so, we not only want to promote sustainable transport, but also investigate the economic feasibility and operational profitability of these solutions for potential providers through increased efficiency and capacity utilization.
What happens in our #real laboratory in Nymphenburg at the Gemeinnütziger Wohnungsverein München 1899 e.V.? We remain curious to see how the use of vehicles will change and what we as scientists can deduce from this!
The phases at a glance:
Test phase 3 (since 07/2023): Car sharing - A total of 13 participants have been sharing the 5 Cupra Born provided by @TUM since Monday. All previous journeys with the private vehicle are to be mapped by the car sharing fleet. Our recorded data shows that this will be possible.
Test phase 2 (since 12/2022): 1:1 swap - How does using a BEV change mobility? 5 households swap their private vehicle with a combustion engine for a fully electric Cupra Born each.
Test phase 1 (since 09/2022): Collecting data on the status quo - how do the project participants and their cars move? We remain curious to see how the use of vehicles will change and what we as scientists can deduce from this!
