How you can participate in ComfficientShare 2.0

In the project, we are testing various forms of neighborhood car sharing. Depending on the service, you can use a private vehicle from the neighborhood, participate in community car sharing, or record your mobility behavior with our digital mobility diary.

Peer-to-peer car sharing Already started Private vehicles can already be booked at active locations via the neighborhood hub app.
Community Carsharing Estimated start in mid-September 2026 The community offer starts at the Bürgerbauverein and at München West.

P2P vehicle owners

Private vehicles can be booked and used by other participants from the neighborhood in peer-to-peer car sharing.

100 % of the revenue goes to the owners.
Currently important: Currently, no additional private vehicles can be newly added to the fleet.

P2P users

Do you occasionally need a car, but don't want to own one yourself? Via the peer-to-peer service, you can book and use available vehicles in your neighborhood.

Current rates
Compact class €2.50 / hour 0.25 € / km
Transporter €3.50 / hour 0.35 € / km
The hourly rate is limited to a maximum of €25 per day.

Community Carsharing

Shared vehicles will be available in the future for participants at Bürgerbauverein and München West. Booking and trip initiation are done digitally.

How to participate

Two apps for different areas

Different applications are used for the car-sharing offers and the digital mobility log.

Carsharing

Quartiershub App

Through the Quartiershub app, you can use the available car-sharing services and manage your trips.

    Register Set up participation for the appropriate car-sharing offer.

    Select location and vehicle Select available vehicles and offers in the app.

    Book and drive Start the trip via the app and follow the instructions on the vehicle.

    End ride Return the vehicle properly and complete the booking in the app.
Mobility research

Digital mobility diary

With the TUM Tracking App, you can record your traveled routes and thus gain insight into your personal mobility behavior.

    Access granted After registration, you will receive your personal access to the TUM Tracking App.

What is MOSAIQ?
Imagine something: There is more space for people. The streets have more trees and plants. Everyone can get around better. That's how your Schwabing-West district could be in the future. How would you like your district to be? We want to talk to you about it!

The project is called MOSAIQ. MOSAIQ is a research∙project. MOSAIQ means: Mobility and urban climate in the future city∙part. The Technical University of Munich is leading the project.

What is MOSAIQ about?
MOSAIQ wants to make the streets in the city∙part more beautiful. People should feel comfortable there. There should be more space. For meetings and plants, for example. You can help decide what is tried out in the Stadt∙teil. The ideas come from you. Some ideas will be tried out on the streets for a certain period of time.
The aim of MOSAIQ is to make urban districts good places to live.
At the same time, the climate in the city should improve. And people should be able to move around the city easily. 

What is happening in the district?

  • In the year 2025:
    The people in the district can participate. They can express their ideas. There are discussions, surveys and meetings. Researchers are also starting their work.
  • In the year 2026:
    Some ideas are tried out.
    They are moved around the streets for a certain period of time.
  • In the year 2027:
    The results are evaluated.
    Consideration is given to how things can continue∙.
