#15 SpeakerSeries: Film screening "A Human Ride" & discussion

A HUMAN RIDE

The transport revolution is on everyone's lips and mobility of the future has become one of the trending topics. But why is this even important? If traffic presents us with such major challenges, why don't we just stay at home?

Is mobility a basic need?

It was precisely with this question in mind that director Kristian Gründling took to the streets, train stations, trains, parks, petrol stations, garages, cab drivers, research institutions, cities and the countryside. Using a camera and microphone, he explored very personal perspectives on everyday mobility. Exciting changes of perspective, revealing contexts and emotional realities of life make this film itself a movement. The film is not an appeal and does not offer any direct solutions. A HUMAN RIDE is a cinematic journey of experience into the primal human need to be on the move.

ZUKUNFT NAHVERKEHR and MCube - Munich Cluster for the Future of Mobility in Metropolitan Regions - invite you to an exclusive screening of A HUMAN RIDE followed by a film discussion at the Munich Urban Colab.
